Story:

Naoki Kanazawa was born in 1989 as the son of Kazuhiro Kanazawa, the legendary ceramicist of Maruo kiln. Naoki is the 6th generation of the ceramic family. It was natural for him to be a ceramicist and started his own kiln in 2008. Naoki blends more than 10 different iron-based ingredients and creates his own glazes. Depending on the climate, temperature and seasons, each item turns out dramatically different and Naoki enjoys the surprises every time he pulls out his works from the kiln. Naoki gets the idea from the local ocean, nature and the land to create his products.
