Tetsujiro Kuwahara, the third-generation owner of the bamboo and wooden crafting company carves each doll out of solid paulownia wood. Located in the hot spring town of Hinagu in Kumamoto, Japan, the Kuwahara bamboo company has been skillfully producing intricate and exquisite wooden goods since 1902. Under the guidance of Tetsujiro Kuwahara, the third generation of the family, each product is handcrafted with precision and care.
