My favorite free cups! They feel just like holding coral from the ocean in my hometown! Enjoy the coral-like rough texture while sipping your favorite drinks. I love how the craftsman titles each product—this is the "Earth" series. You can truly feel the spirit of Mother Earth in every piece, beautifully reflecting our connection to nature. It’s a celebration of our planet!
Each piece is handmade by Naoki Kanazawa in Amakusa, Japan. Each may vary slightly in glaze and size.
A perfect bowl for tea, soup, ice cream, or for any dessert!

Story: Naoki Kanazawa is a talented potter from Amakusa, a coastal town renowned for its stunning natural beauty. Growing up in a family of potters, he began crafting pottery at age of 18. Naoki established his own kiln, “Ayoo,” with his wife, Sachi in 2022. His work is inspired by the diverse landscapes of Amakusa, encapsulating the fleeting beauty of nature through his unique approach to “ambient ceramics.” Each piece he creates is distinct, reflecting the ever-changing moments of the environment around him. The name “Ayoo,” derived from the local dialect, conveys a sense of emotional resonance—joy, surprise, or sadness—embodying the gentle and soft feelings tied to nature. Naoki's pottery preserves the “green” emotions he encounters while living closely with the landscape.
His artistic journey includes immersing himself in nature, where he contemplates humanity's smallness and finds solace in the beauty of survival amidst the elements. Through his work, he aims to bridge the connection between nature and people, inviting viewers to appreciate the myriad “Keshiki” (scenery) present in his pottery. His creations blend utility and beauty, showcasing overlapping colors and forms that evoke a deep sense of harmony with the natural world.
