Takubo Straw Decoration - Heiwa musubi
By Takubo
“Heiwa” means peace in Japanese. The Kai family designed the Heiwa Musubi after the 2011 earthquake in northern Japan as a symbol of hope and unity. Inspired by the global response—donations and relief efforts from around the world—they felt a deep connection, realizing that "the world is one." The product appears as three separate rings, but they are crafted from one continuous piece of rope, reflecting our interconnectedness. The rings represent the sun, earth, and moon, embodying harmony and peace.
