Each piece is handmade by Hiroko Yamaguchi in Kumamoto Japan.
Hiroko is from the ocean town Amakusa in Kumamoto, but now lives in Arao-city which is famous for Shodai-yaki. Her husband Tomokazu Yamaguchi is the second generation of Issaki Kiln and they are working together everyday to take over the family business. Hiroko uses her hometown's clay (white porcelain) to create her own lines. Hiroko adds colors of her hometown's ocean color. Enjoy her unique works!
